Workshop for women reaches 18 nationalities

Another workshop filled with joy and sharing for the participants of the Breath of Hope project. In fact, during the last week of August, no fewer than 28 women from 18 different nationalities, including Syrians, Nigerians, Colombians, Iraqis, Somalis, Eritreans, Venezuelans and others took part in a creative 3 days workshop about soaps and skincare.

Kamila Conrado, an entrepreneur at Soaps & Beyond (@soaps_and_beyond), allowed the participants to learn more about the world of soaps and natural products while enabling them to create their own creations. On the program it was natural soaps, natural deodorant, body cream and balm realised completely from scratch and even has a class on how to package and sell the products.

“Thank you for giving us your valuable time, as well to Adriane (the project coordinator) and the people who gave their love and affection to all of us, and thank you for teaching us”, said N. a Somalian participant of the Workshop. It was thus a great way to learn new things and gain skills, all within a fun and supportive environment.

Thanks again to Kamila Conrado and all the participants for this warm and unique experience.
