In a world that often highlights our differences, Bridge of Hope showed us that food can bring people together in the most delicious ways. At their final Cook Workshop of the season, Syrians, Latinos, and sushi lovers came together to share their love for food, proving that unity is possible through diversity.
The event was a culinary delight, featuring the talents of Chef Tommy and Chef Manni from the popular restaurant @kyatcha.ig. The chefs led the community in a hands-on cooking experience, blending flavours, techniques, and stories from different cultures. From sushi rolls to new Latin experiences, participants not only learned new recipes but also embraced the beauty of multiculturalism on a plate.
Held in the warm and welcoming space of @credocafe_, the workshop was more than just a cooking class—it was an opportunity for people from diverse backgrounds to connect, share, and celebrate their cultural heritage through food.
A special thanks goes out to the chefs, Tommy and Manni, for sharing their expertise, and to the amazing hosts at Credo Café for creating such a perfect atmosphere for this memorable gathering.
As Bridge of Hope wrapped up its Cook Workshop summer season, one thing became clear: food has the power to build bridges and create unity, no matter how diverse the ingredients.
