Road of Hope has long been dedicated to supporting refugees, newcomers, and people in need. For years, we have been walking alongside those who arrive in the Netherlands seeking safety, dignity, and a chance to rebuild their lives.
Today, we run seven active projects that reach different communities, genders, and neighbourhoods, creating safe spaces, offering guidance, and helping people find their path to independence and belonging. And we’re not stopping there: three new projects are already planned for 2026, with many more on the waiting list. Each project grows from a simple belief that every person deserves a fair start and a hopeful future.
Like many social organizations, Road of Hope faces the daily challenge of limited resources. Our work has been made possible mostly through the generosity of volunteers who give their time, knowledge, and heart to make a difference. Without them, these years of unstoppable work simply would not have been possible.
Still, to continue expanding and improving our programs, we now need to take the next step. As our projects grow and more people turn to us for support, the demand on our organization has also increased. To keep up with this growth, we must invest in strengthening our structure and administrative foundation, improving coordination, communication, and the systems that make our work possible behind the scenes.
