Breath of Hope
Our program for supporting women refugees and newcomers in New West Amsterdam is organizing a third edition of Bazaar of Solidarity. Together with Hulp in de Buurt and Coa, we are still asking for clothing donations. In this new edition, the requested display will offer summer/autumn clothes for men, women and children. Toys and utensils for the house are very welcome, too.
Donations can be dropped off at Road of Hope or at Hulp in de Buurt in Ru Pare.
In September, Breath of Hope starts the “Spreekuur,” a Dutch consultation hour. A volunteer will be available at the Road of Hope office if any participants would like to come and ask questions or find orientation about living in the Netherlands. The Spreekuu will be every Thursday (time to be decided).

Bridge of Hope
“Thank you so much for everything. We cannot wait to see each other again.”, said one of the participants.
Bridge of HopeSyrian community members and Dutch residents had a great time eating together. While cooking and chatting, participants learned about each other.
The activity was part of our project in Noord, “Bridge of Hope.
Bridge of Hope’s activity, together with @credochurchamsterdam@credocafe_, aims to encourage participants to share their experiences, support each other, and promote a sense of community.
