The new season of the Together project is already running in the New West of Amsterdam, at Riekerhof and Hotel King’s Court. This season Together focuses on emotional support and community building through art with the weekly activity “Painting for Adults”(21+).
Every Tuesday, around 15 participants learn new techniques and different ways of expressing themselves through painting. “For those who have attended this activity before, it has been pleasant and interesting to work with a new assortment of paint materials and new tools for creativity. Experienced members of the group immediately started work, being easily inspired. And the new members take timid, careful steps, but showed themselves by getting involved in the general atmosphere of the group’s creativity,” – says Helena, the artist who hosts the activity.
“Together” is the Road of Hope project for welcoming Ukrainians to The Netherlands. From September, among other activities, the project will offer workshops, artworks for women, teenagers and youngsters, and a new season of Rootless. Stay tuned!
